Wear and prominent display of the CDC personal identity verification (PIV) card (smartcard) is mandatory during tours of duty. Exception: The PIV card will not be worn in work areas when it will obstruct or interfere with the wearing of safety equipment/clothing or when the working environment is not conducive to support this requirement.
The ability to travel 10% or more of the time using government, domestic, and/or foreign modes of air, land, and/or sea transportation.
Provide a baseline serum and blood sample upon periodic request, and receive available immunizations related to the work performed.
Ability to acquire and maintain security risk assessment approval for work with Select Agents.
Ability to sustain working 3 plus hours per day in the high containment laboratory under BSL-4 strenuous physical conditions.
