    As an Administrative Officer, you will:

    • Serve as advisor on organizational effectiveness; responsible for developing and improving work methods and procedures, analyzing and improving the distribution and assignment of administrative and support work.
    • Ensures the timely preparation of performance standards and appraisals for the employees in the office.
    • Coordinates and monitors tracking process for personnel-related forms, documents, files and reports.
    • Coordinates the budget process for the Associate Chief Counsel.
    • Regularly advises the supervisor of budget status and identifies potential problem areas.
    • Responsible for determining the office's physical resource needs, including property, supplies, telecommunications, space, furniture, equipment, tax research materials, etc.
    • Serves as point of contact for issues involving the mail program, VMS/telecommunications, security, occupant emergency, parking and other programs affecting the office.
    • Works directly with the Executive Assistant to resolve complex or sensitive matters that may arise.
    • Participates in the travel management program by serving as a Travel Security Administrator, troubleshooting travel and questions/problems. This list is not all inclusive.
