    You will serve as a OPERATIONS SUPPORT OFFICER in the Operations Department of Commander of MSCEUR in Naples, Italy.

    The mission of the Operations Department is to coordinate, administer, regulate and control the movements and operations of the Special Mission Ships, Afloat Prepositioning Force, and Strategic Sealift dry and wet cargo ships and tankers assigned to the EUCOM and AFRICOM Areas of Responsibility.

    • You will manage MSCEUR implementation and execution of Navy Reserve Programs and coordinate Navy Reserve Support for routine operations, exercises and contingencies.
    • You will serve as the primary action officer for all matters involving MSC shipping/sealift to support exercises in EUCOM and AFRICOM AORs, and conduct analysis as required to determine Sealift and personnel required to support exercises.
    • You will assess workforce in the areas of performance and professional development to guide and develop an efficient organization.
    • You will train personnel in preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery tasks.
    • You will analyze customer needs to determine the feasibility of project or to develop a plan.
    • You will coordinate with stakeholders to organize the integration of end user requirements into a project plan.
    • You will conduct informational briefings on organizational programs and policies.
    • You will discuss actions to correct deficiencies or make adjustments to program operational support requirements or methodologies.
    • You will develop long-range plans that identify critical support areas, resource availability, priorities, and timelines.
