    The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the strategic, end-to-end architecture of all web based admissions systems.

    • Provide IT domain expertise. Establishes guidance and provides over site over all information technology services for all admissions systems for HQ USAFA and HQ AFROTC, including data interfaces with existing Oracle, Seibel, Access and MS SQL Server.
    • Interacts with industry, Air Force, and Air Force Academy agencies on industry and Air Force IT standards. Effectively provides expertise to all Admissions members on IT issues.
    • Assist in training personnel on IT functions. Conducts admission training seminars to visiting Liaison Officers. Briefs admissions staff on new and updated IT procedures, requirements for all admissions plans and recommendations for improvements.
    • Trains new USAFA/RR personnel on IT functions to ensure an understanding of the critical role, capability and processes/interaction of IT operations within and outside of Admissions.
    • Develops, evaluates, and modifies application of office policies pertaining to Admissions support procedures, processes, and dissemination of information.
