    The primary purpose of this position is to: serve as the Chief Protocol Advisor which involves the formulation, planning, implementation, execution, and management of the protocol program for Headquarters Twentieth Air Force (20 AF) and its subordinate organizations.

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as Chief Protocol Advisor. Coordinates, consolidates, and implements protocol policies and procedures into an integrated protocol program for 20 AF.
    • Serves as the principal POC for matters pertaining to the handling of high ranking visitors to 20 AF and for the protocol aspects of conferences hosted by 20 AF that involve distinguished U.S. and foreign civilian and military conferences.
    • Exercises functional authority over the protocol offices at the numbered air force headquarters and at subordinate organizations.
    • Maintains the 20 AF Commander's Official Representation Funds (ORF) and Special Morale and Welfare (SMandW) Funds, and manages expenditures for the office?s government purchase card.
    • Responds to requests for information and assistance from the spouses of senior leaders as they pertain to spouses? programs, representational social events, and official gift exchanges.
