    Summary

    The selectee for this position will serve as a Environmental Engineer/Physical Scientist/Biologist in the Environmental Resources and Assessment Branch of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD FAR EAST.

    Responsibilities

    • You will plan, program, and budget for recurring and non-recurring environmental compliance and natural resources costs.
    • You will prepare and maintain Environmental Program Requirements (EPRs) exhibits for submission to the Navy electronic environmental budgeting and planning database.
    • You will prepare out-year regional execution plans and mid-year and end-of-year regional budget execution reports.
    • You will serve as regional expert in Environmental Quality Assessment (EQA) programs and ensures that all operations are conducted in accordance with current and applicable environmental regulations.
    • You will serve as regional expert for Environmental Management System (EMS) programs and ensures that all operations are conducted in accordance with current and applicable environmental policy, instructions, and guidance.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
