    Summary

    The Director of Occupational/Employee Health Section is responsible for the overall functioning, supervision, and clinical operation of the Occupational/Employee Health Section program in VA Puget Sound Health Care System. Responsible for maintaining professional, technical, and administrative knowledge, competencies, and skills pertaining to this position. The individual in this position will also function in a clinical role providing appropriate care for employees in Occupational Health.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintains Medical Center Policy and Procedures for Occupational/Employee Health Program
    • Participates in Medical Center committees and administrative assignments
    • Represents Occupational/Employee Health Program in interaction with other services and programs
    • Provides adequate professional supervision and direction of Occupational/Employee Health Services Staff
    • Provides for efficient, cost effective operation of the Occupational/ Employee Health Services program
    Work Schedule: Seattle Division: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
