    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Chief and program manager, organizing, directing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees within the Civil Engineer (CE) Squadron's Operations Engineering Element.

    • Plans, organizes, tnd directs the activities of the Element. Develops Element goals and objectives that integrate organization and Operations Flight objectives.
    • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
    • Represents the Element with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
    • Communicates and coordinates Element issues with higher headquarters, regulatory agencies, other installation units, community officials, etc.
    • Directs the development and execution of flight budget and work classification system in support of engineering/operations planning and execution.
