    • Serves as the WDTC Environmental Engineer/Scientist responsible for coordinating, directing, formulating, and executing overall management of the test center environmental and hazardous waste management program.
    • Plans, manages, and executes environmental compliance, restoration, pollution prevention, and conservation initiatives of a complex and non-routine nature requiring substantive adaptation and modification of approaches, methods and procedures.
    • Executes test center environmental programs for hazardous waste, hazardous materials, solid waste, industrial wastewater, ground and surface water quality, and geohydraulic issues, investigations of solid waste management units (SWMUs).
    • Develops project plans, outlines environmental procedures and issues, and identifies long and short term goals and objectives.
    • Designs, develops and reviews all environmental plans submitted for a test, program or training event to the DEP and other environmental regulatory agencies.
    • Conducts inspections of ranges test sites. and operations. before and during in progress testing and other operations to solve potential environmental related issues, and to direct the appropriate actions to ensure environmental compliance.
    • Provides technical review of design calculations, analyses, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards.
