    This position is located in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., NW., Washington, DC, in the Bureau for Food Security, Office of Strategic Planning and Performance Management (BFS/SPPM).

    Responsibilities

    As a Supervisory Management & Program Specialist, you will: 

    • Monitor and report Bureau for Food Security (BFS) programs for Bureau and Agency leadership, as well as external stakeholders. 
    • Oversee budget formulation for the Bureau, as well as global funding for resilience, agriculture-led growth, nutrition, and water, sanitation and hygiene.
    • Establish clear policies and procedures for the inclusive development of BFS’ strategy and program cycle support across the Bureau’s Centers and Offices.
    • Organize and oversee work to meet the team objectives established with the BFS/SPPM Director and BFS/AA.
    • Design, develop,  and implement procedures and processes for strategic planning, budget formulation, project and activity design and implementation,  performance management, and reporting.
    • Establish guidelines, performance expectations and work objectives for staff members, delegating work streams or activities as appropriate, which are clearly communicated through the formal employee performance management system.
