    This primary purpose of this position is to perform administrative support functions pertaining to correspondence management, budget, purchasing, human resources, timekeeping, travel, and related administrative areas for the State Area Office.

    • Assists in preparing the Area operating budget for the fiscal year and ensures compliance with agency and state budget requirements.
    • As purchase card holder, purchases supplies, equipment, and services within delegated authority using mandatory or open market sources.
    • Serves as the timekeeper in reviewing and verifying time and attendance.
    • Assists in preparing Personnel Action requests (SF-52s) and associated documentation for submission to the state office.
    • Assists in the review of vehicular accidents involving government vehicles, ensuring the proper forms are completed.
    • Schedules meetings, prepares agendas, makes arrangements for meeting facilities and notifies participants of schedule changes.
    • Receives and review incoming correspondence.
    • Establishes, organizes, and maintains a filing system of official material and records.
