    Summary

    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Associate Director in a Centrally Directed Audit Directorate, Air Force Audit Agency with responsibility for directing the activities of the Division.

    Responsibilities

    • As Division Chief, plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Division.
    • Formulates program goals, plans, policies, and procedures and work plans dealing with the development and operation of command-wide audit functions and activities.
    • Participates in providing both technical and administrative direction to subordinate branch chiefs and through them their assigned nonsupervisory employees.
    • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
    • Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with senior Air Force and AFAA leaders. Represents the division at higher levels within the organization and at conferences with HQ USAF, DOD, and other agencies.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Work may occasionally require travel away from normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
