- Lead overall project management of existing marketing efforts in the Mid-Continent Independent System Operator, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, evaluate existing efforts within these market footprints and develop new efforts with the Southwest Power Pool.
- Lead SWPA in its efforts to research and form a strategy to offer into the existing energy markets, hydropower projects as part of existing contractual relationships and lead the review of existing regional energy markets including energy imbalance markets, real-time and day-ahead markets, capacity markets, and RTO implications and market activities.
- Identify trends and develop long-term strategies for addressing significant issues facing SWPA, the current and future electric utility environment, and advising the Administrator of any sensitive or critical major action items currently facing the Industry.
- Analyze SWPA activities, initiatives, and strategic plans and advise the Administrator on how to implement these in conjunction with agency or industry or Administration objectives, changes, or initiatives. Provide policy guidance and information to senior staff and other management officials.
25% or less - Periodic travel up to 25% of the time of one or more nights in duration will be required to coordinate projects, attend conferences, and participate in RTO meetings or working groups.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
