The Justice Management Division, Finance Staff (FS), formulates and establishes Department-wide policies, procedures, and financial systems to support planning, programming, budgeting, accounting and other financial management activities.
The Justice Management Division, Finance Staff, Financial Systems Functional Group (FSFG) is responsible for providing functional support for DOJ financial management systems (e.g. Unified Financial Management System, based upon CGI-Federal Momentum Financial & Acquisitions Systems; Financial Management Information Systems II, a mainframe-based legacy system that will be retired in 2020; Justice Enterprise Data Interchange and Business Intelligence portal, a robust reporting and data warehouse system). Support includes but not limited to (a) management of the requirements; configuration; and testing of DOJ financial systems; (b) overseeing implementation and migrations activities involving DOJ financial management systems; (d) developing and delivering training; (e) providing help desk (Tier II and beyond) support to DOJ users; and (f) representing Justice Management Division's interests in meetings, conferences, and other gatherings related to DOJ financial management systems.
