This is a non-reimbursable Detail Opportunity.
The detailed Facilities Operations Specialist will be responsible for planning and coordinating the award of contractual actions to include:
- The primary focus of this detail is to provide broad day-to-day facilities services for multi-storied, multi-tenanted buildings located on the Executive Office of the President Campus (EOPC).
- Responsible for planning and overseeing a wide rage of projects, customer service functions, conducting building walkthroughs to observe building conditions, identify building/tenant issues and take the appropriate action for resolution.
- Plans, organizes and participates in tenant meetings to brief managers regarding on-going and future projects, proposed schedules, impacts to tenant, and coordinates for the funding of projects.
- Provides guidance and over-site for projects, building operations and space management.
- Plans and coordinates logistical support for special events and projects including tenant agency moves.
- Serve as an advisor to tenants on all facilities relates issues, project management and daily maintenance management.
- Collaborates with management officials and staff regarding space alterations and construction projects to ensure the design and layout meets policy and procedural requirements.
- Serve as a primary liaison between GSA, customers and vendors.
