    This position is located in the Farm Service Agency, Indiana State Office, Office of the State Executive Director (SED), located in Indianapolis, IN

    Responsibilities

    • Manages the administrative functions of the SED's office.
    • Receives and reviews incoming correspondence, reports, and other documents addressed to the SED, State Office (STO) and the State County Office (STC).
    • Provides substantive information and resolves problems or inquiries pertaining to administrative operations and policies of the office.
    • Serves as the liaison between the SED and other STO staff members.
    • Independently composes responses to requests for general information and prepares letters of acknowledgement and commendation for the SED's signature.
    • Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls for the SED's office, determining their nature and purpose.

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position.
