    You will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic in Anchorage, Alaska.

    As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will accomplish routine and emergency repair, evaluation and installation of plants and structures, and facilities to include environmental systems, radar, communication and navigational aid antenna systems. You will work alone or as part of a group performing mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, cable installation/replacement, welding/metal fabrication and painting. This position requires knowledge and application of materials; and safety and security regulations, practices and procedures. You will work from blueprints, work orders, plans, sketches and other written specifications and oral instructions. You must be able to maintain, repair and use a variety of hand tools, testing equipment and power equipment characteristic of the various trades. You must be able to operate diesel/gasoline powered heavy equipment such as trenchers, backhoes and front end loaders.
