    Regulatory Audit & Agency Advisory Service (RAAAS) is part of the Office of Trade (OT), United States (U.S.) Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). CBP works to ensure a fair and competitive trade environment where the benefits of trade compliance exceed the costly consequences of violating U.S. trade laws. A proactive, aggressive, and dynamic trade enforcement and facilitation system protects the American consumer and supports the benefits of international trade. These positions start at a salary of $42,053.00 (GS-7, Step 1) to $96,978.00 (GS-12, Step 10) with promotion potential to $96,978.00 (GS-12 Step 10).

    The auditor plans, conducts, and reports on a variety of complex audit assignments involving accounting systems of various business operations, which includes import operations.

    Typical work assignments will vary based on the grade level of the incumbent.
