The individual selected for this position will:
- Supervise, train, and delegate work to subordinates based on priorities and prepares overall schedules for completion of work; provide advice, guidance, and instruction to employees.
- Consult and collaborate with General Services Administration (GSA) to coordinate and execute the development of space acquisition plans, requirements, operations, and functions which have a direct impact on the success of the Decennial Census.
- Determine and documents the Area of Consideration for the location of the Area Census Office (ACO). Ensures program schedule is followed, and tracks program status and progress of construction for the ACOs in conjunction with GSA staff.
- Ensures that acceptable office space is found for each Area Census Office and that all leasing requirements, documentation obligations, conformance to Census ACO space requirements, occupancy time frames, general and special requirements.

EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes supervising, training and delegating work to subordinates; working with persons of various levels up to and including SES and executive officials; and leasing office space and organizing all mandatory documentation while working in a strict timeframe, while adhering to applicable federal regulations.
