This position serves as a Deputy Base Operations Manager, Wyoming Army National Guard.
This position is located in the Joint Force Headquarters-State, Operations Directorate (J-3), Wyoming Army National Guard (ARNG) Training Center, Maneuver Garrison Training Center Heavy (MTC-H), which may or may not include a Power Support Platform (PSP).
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Training Center Deputy Base Operations Manager supporting the Garrison Commander with responsibility for all operational aspects of training management in support of national defense initiatives and missions. This requires critical support to the full mobilization of troops that are activated, trained, certified and deployed for the war fight.
This position is comparable to a directorate level, command position and complicated by the many facets of the training center program and mission. The incumbent manages personnel that are involved in professional, technical, trades, and administrative positions; and includes dual status and non-dual status federal employees, state employees, contractors, full time AGR and traditional guard personnel. The training center may also support several tenant units, ARNG support facilities, and other non-ARNG activities.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:

This position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program.
Employees are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).

6. This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.
