    About the Position: This position is located at the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, Aviation & Missile Center, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Incumbent serves as an Electronics Engineer within the Navigation Technology Division of the Weapons Development and Integration (WDI) Directorate.

    This is a Demonstration Project Position.

    The employee will work in an adequately lighted and ventilated office environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in technical matters relative to GPS receivers and navigation systems within the Navigation Technology Division of Weapons Development & Integration (WDI) Directorate.
    • Responsible for the research, development, testing, and/or evaluation of GPS-aiding software technologies and algorithms such as Kalman or particle filters.
    • Responsible for the research, development, testing, and/or evaluation of novel GPS-aiding hardware technologies.
    • Develop detailed integration and test plans for missile and unmanned aviation systems for integration of M-Code GPS technologies.
    • Provides technical subject matter expertise in systems design and integration efforts for navigation technologies in all areas of military GPS receivers and aiding sensors.
