    About the Position: Serves as the Protocol Specialist within the Office of the Commander of the Regional Health Command- Atlantic. The purpose of the work is to develop study, analyze, establish criteria and standard, assess program effectiveness, and manage a comprehensive protocol program at the regional level of the organization.

    • Acts as official representative and/or host for the Commander and Senior Staff Members at points of arrival, meetings/briefings, social events and other official activities.
    • Plans and directs all aspects of the organization's protocol program.
    • Establishes an effective working relationship with members of the Government, Congress, Senate, State Department, DoD, DA, contractor, industry, the media, and the community, at large.
    • Develops recommendations for improvement to the public affairs program, addressing unusual circumstances.
    • Work enhances the image of the organization, and affects the professional interactions of the command's senior leadership across the region, state, and public sector, and contributes to range of agency activities and improves program.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 10% of the time for this position.
