    You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Engineer (Aerospace/Electronics/Mechanical) in the Research & Engineering Group, Systems Engineering Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.

    • You will coordinate and ensure proper airworthiness is completed for all Navy Adversary aircraft.
    • You will perform aircraft airworthiness assessments and evaluate all technical requirements while identifying risks associated with the aircraft's use for the USN mission.
    • You will translate capability, capacity, and airworthiness needs into traceable requirements documentation using the systems engineering process.
    • You will serve as technical advisor during the development and execution of contracts.
    • You will develop or direct development of contract engineering specifications, which define system requirements and parameters.
    • You will prepare correspondence, technical reports, and instructions for submittal to NAVAIR, other activities and contractors as may be required to answer inquiries, relay or request information, and establish work assignments.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
