    • Organizes ACO team members' duty assignments to assure overall mission accomplishment. Individual assignments are based on team priorities, capabilities of project team members, and plans for their development.
    • Performs final closeout of assigned contracts; e.g., assures delivery, inspection and acceptance of contractual end items and that all administrative and reporting actions have been resolved before recommending final closeout of the contract.
    • Maintains cognizance over a series of complex contracts, grants and other transactions.
    • Contracts administered may have complex short or long-term cost, incentive, re-determinable, flexibly priced, and complex firm fixed-price type contracts.
    • Performs required contract administration functions, such as determining eligibility and verifying evidence of contractor's progress for approval of contract financing.
    • Negotiates various overhead rate agreements, forward pricing rate agreements, and advance agreements; resolves disagreements between auditor and contractor involving audit determined rates; and negotiates prices.
    • Assures contractor compliance with 19 Cost Accounting Standards (CASs) and other applicable laws and regulations.
    • Reviews Disclosure Statements, analyzes and negotiates impact statements, system changes, and determines noncompliance with CAS requirements.
    • Conducts pre and post award conferences with the contractor to provide information and clarify standards, provide special provisions.
    • Ensures compliance with and understanding of contractual requirements as prescribed by various federal regulations.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - 10% official travel is required for this position.
