    This position serves as the Chief of Natural and Cultural Resources Management/Integrated Resources Program Manager for Crater Lake National Park and is responsible for independently managing the division and integrating resource management into other park functions. The incumbent is responsible for the management, supervision, and leadership in all natural and cultural resource management functions.

    • Oversees all professional and scientific biological, geological, geophysical work and research carried out in the Park.
    • Plan, implement, and manage the work of the Division of Natural and Cultural Resources Management which may impact a wide variety of park and regional resources and issues.
    • Indirectly supervises staff through subordinate supervisors of professional, administrative, technical, and clerical positions.
    • Develop and implement long and short range operational plans and decisions within the division including determination of overall policies, projects and team leader assignments, and relationship to the overall park goals.
    • Participate in and/or serve as the lead in developing and implementing park strategic plans and management documents.
    • Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for projects conducted through contracts, interagency agreements, and cooperative agreements.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 5 nights per month for this position.
