    Summary

    You will serve as an IT Specialist (Policy and Planning) in the Information Technology Division, Corporate Operations Department of NSWC PHILA DIV. If selected, you will ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems, networks, and data through information systems security programs, policies, procedures and goals.

    Responsibilities

    • You will plan, develop, implement, and administer the Command's Cyber Space Workforce (CSWF) Program.
    • You will carry out the Cyberspace Workforce Program including developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, evaluating progress and reporting on accomplishments.
    • You will track CSWF positions and workforce personnel qualification, track CSWF qualification compliance and continuing education unit (CEU) completion, approve all IT accounts; review and approve of all IA policy (directives, notices, etc.).
    • You will interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to plan, implement, manage and deliver employee development and training programs specifically related to the Navy Cyberspace Workforce (CSWF).
    • You will develop procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, network and data.
    • You will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks and protection needs.
    • You will conduct systems security evaluation, audits, and reviews.
