    About the Position: Defense Contract Management Agency uses the Expedited Hiring Authority to recruit and appoint qualified individuals directly into shortage category or critical need acquisition positions.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides engineering Technical Pricing Support (TPS) and cost analysis reviews for major defense acquisition program contract proposals. Analyzes the realism of engineering schedules in contractor proposals.
    • Provides feedback to the Chief Engineer (CE) regarding the adequacy and clarity of engineering surveillance processes based on daily application of the processes and Agency reporting requirements.
    • Provides technical analysis and input to Forward Pricing Rate Agreements (FPRAs) and Forward Pricing Rate Recommendations (FPRRs).
    • Continually assesses and monitors contractor's business systems in support of pricing, Also provides technical analyses for cost monitoring functions.
    • Analyzes trends in performance indicator scores to assist the CE with managing Agency level performance indicators, recommending corrective action, establishing lessons learned, and influencing the improvement of contractor processes.
    • Prepares, provides, and evaluates documentation regarding specific engineering and manufacturing questions requiring resolution.
    • Provides inputs for status briefings to leadership, outlining assigned programs, projects, problems, and recommended resolution.

    25% or less - Business travel may be required 10% of the time.
