    You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the Life Cycle Management Division (N75) of Military Sealift Command Naval Base Norfolk.

    • You will develop technical and administrative procedures to standardize the Program's Life Cycle Maintenance practices, methods, and operations to met COMSC policy and objectives.
    • You will Manage the maintenance, repair, and alteration program for all ships assigned.
    • You will provide technical advice involving major modifications or alterations of ships or machinery and equipment.
    • You will coordinate material condition surveys, quality assurance inspections and shipyard monitoring of ships required.
    • You will submit appropriate recommendations relating to basic design of various shipboard systems, i.e., propulsion systems, auxiliary systems, underway replenishment systems, etc.
    • You will evaluate test results and perform cross class analysis in areas related to life cycle management, ship engineering operations, and material readiness.
    • You will provide input into ship operational schedules to incorporate overhaul schedules.
