    About the Position: Incumbent will direct programs that include professional engineering, scientific and safety work in the execution of national environmental and munitions cleanup and compliance programs.

    • Supervise technical experts in the area of environmental sciences of chemistry or environmental risk assessment or health physics, geophysics, engineering or industrial hygiene pertaining to environmental and munitions cleanup and compliance.
    • Lead and mentor environmental sciences staff of chemists, geophysicists, engineers environmental risk assessors, health physicists and industrial hygienists.
    • Serve as technical expert in the field of science related to environmental and munitions cleanup.
    • Act as the USACE focal point of contact for highly complex science related environmental cleanups as a leader in the Environmental Community of Practice.
    • Coordinates, manages and schedules workload, staff and funds for Division.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position up to 20% away from perment duty location.
