    This position is located in the Military Sealift Command (MSC), Total Force Management Program Office (N1), Manpower and Personnel Programs (N11), Human Resources Office (HRO) (N112) Labor/Employee Relations and Services Division (N112A), Labor and Employee Relations Branch (N112A1) in MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

    Responsibilities

    • You will prepare documentation for unit determination where management is in general agreement with the union unit proposal.
    • You will coordinate and advise on arrangements for elections with the union to avoid unfair labor practice (ULP).
    • You will assist the senior HR Specialist in preparing publicity and /or local instructions implementing specific portion(s) of the activity labor relations program.
    • You will serve as an impartial investigator of employee complaints on management policies or working conditions.
    • You will provide counseling services to employees on basic personnel policy, administration regulations employee rights and services and any other subject not referred through supervisory channels.
