    As a Interdiciplinary at the GS-0801/0830/0854/0855/1550-11/12 some of your typical work assignments may include:

    • Plans and implements changes to instrumentation plans following technical discussions with the Test Team.
    • Responsible for budget and schedule input to include monitoring and reconciling overages and shortfalls for programs that include photo imagery involving digital and analog video systems, high speed video recording systems, and Nuclear Weapon Stockpile Assurance.
    • Develops policies, standards, and procedures for maintenance, installation, or similar functions as necessary.
    • Oversees technical instrumentation contractor personnel involved in the design, installation, maintenance, and operational checkout of Digital and Analog Video Camera Systems, Infrared Camera Systems, Digital High Speed Camera System, Digital Radio (Microwave/Fiber Optic/Wireless) Transmission System, the Data Acquisition System (DAS), and its associated subsystems.
    • Oversees installation and testing assignments and reviews contractor work based upon priorities and deadlines and the selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of specific weapons effects tests.
    • Makes broad work assignments to team personnel in terms of general objectives, relative priorities, and overall policy when it pertains to all photo instrumentation activities in remote locations and in-house projects.
    • Serves as a representative for Agency tests conducted at Nevada Test Site (NTS1), White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), Chestnut, Dugway, and other test sites identified by the Agency.
    • Develops and implements Instrumentation and/or Optic plans which involve the development and deployment of complete computer systems employed in a broad range of applications
