    As a IT Specialist (OS/Network), your typical work assignments may include the following:

    • Support all information technology production systems (servers, workstations, printers, etc.) associated with manufacturing and assembly of secure credentials, e-passports, and related product lines including manufacturing execution systems related software.
    • Conduct Help Desk functions for secure credential manufacturing and card personalization activities and e-passport.
    • Develops production servers and workstations to be used in production environment ensuring backup systems are available.
    • Coordinates configuration and installation of operating systems to include software application and hardware platforms.
    • Monitors servers on GPO network, installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading to optimize performance.
    • Evaluates the impact of technological change providing solutions to complex concerns.
    • Provides expert technical recommendations/guidance to management on critical information technology issues.
    • Applies new developments to unsolved problems
