    The VA Maine Health Care System is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor for the Facilities Management Service.

    Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor works as Supervisor over a Maintenance Unit in the Maintenance and Operations Section of Facilities Management Service Line. Under the limited supervision of the Assistant Chief, Facilities Management Service (FMS), the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor oversees the work of journeyman level mechanics that function independently within their specific shops of mechanic, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical shop. Each unit functions at the equivalent skill level of first line tradesmen, allowing the incumbent to function as a supervisor over these units. The Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance and repair program at the VA Maine Healthcare System both at the Togus VAMC and all satellite facilities throughout the state.

    Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm
