    As a PROGRAM MANAGER (INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS) at the GS-0340-9 some of your typical work assignments may include:

    • Directs and manages the implementation of one or more programs, portfolios, and/or projects. Prepares program-wide and individual project plans, acquisition baselines, acquisition strategies, implementation plans, and funding plans.
    • Oversees the execution of approved plans through DTRA contracts, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR), or Interagency Reimbursable Orders (IACRO)
    • Directs and supervises the execution of a large-scale program that leads to WMD Proliferation Prevention success, as discussed above, in accordance with federally established acquisition guidelines through the use of DTRA contracts with the U.S. and foreign firms.
    • Facilitates and participates in technical discussions with foreign officials concerning CT projects. Develops close ties and a solid working relationship with foreign counterparts and representatives from CCMDs, other U.S. agencies, international partners, and NGOs.
    • Prepares procurement requirement specifications and documents; chairs technical source selection evaluation boards; prepares source selection recommendations; conducts detailed technical discussions with contract bidders; debriefs both winning and losing bidders on proposal deficiencies; provides frequent guidance to integrating contractors and other support organizations; monitors contractor and partner organization performance; reviews and approves all contract reports and deliverables and recommends required adjustments to existing contracts.
