    Responsibilities

    Serves as the technical expert and principal advisor to the Director of Combat Systems (CS) Army Futures Command (AFC) on all matters relative to the acquisition of Army systems. Responsible for leading and supervising a team of analysts and systems coordinators. Maintains oversight of all Army priority programs to include programs aligned within and between the Cross Functional Teams (CFT). Monitors and provides expert and authoritative advice impacting the modernization of the Army and the modification of the acquisition process to support the objectives of the AFC. Evaluates, analyzes and provides expert insight on issues affecting existing and developing high-priority Science and Technology (S&T) programs of interest to AFC. Develops initiatives to improve Army processes in areas of responsibility.
