    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Plans and Requirements Division Chief, leading information and telecommunications systems plans, policies, and procedures and requirements and implementation program manager for the command.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, organizes, directs and oversees the activities of the Plans, Policy and Requirements Division, ensuring that JTF-CS complies with legal and regulatory requirements to meet organization goals and objectives.
    • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
    • Technical advisor and Command Technical Representative. Represents Joint Task Force Civil Support with a variety of governmental and functional area organizations.
    • Serves as Chief of the Joint Communications Control Center (JCCC). Leads actions of JCCC Watch Officers and Operations Officers during all JTF-CS, USNORTHCOM, and ARNORTH sponsored events, exercises and operations.
    • Serves as the Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager for all cryptographic activities including managing the Cryptographic Access Program (CAP) for JTF -CS and subordinate units.
    • Perform CBRN Response Operations. Participates in CBRN Response Enterprise operations.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Work may require travel by military or commercial aircraft or other modes of travel away from the normal duty station to locations within and outside of the Continental United States.
