    You will serve as an Engineer/Scientist in the High Power Microwave (HPM) System Development and Integration Branch, Directed Energy Division, Gun and Electric Weapon System Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. If selected you will serve as the senior HPM Vulnerability Analysis and Effects Lead.

    • You will lead the development of improved high power microwave (HPM) weapon effects.
    • You will lead and be responsible for design of experiments, test planning and RF safety, any related RF sensors and test equipment, data acquisition, HPM vulnerability analysis, and development of RF waveform specifications for HPM system design.
    • You will lead the technical execution of HPM Vulnerability Analysis and RF Effects on electronics work to include testing as well as modeling and simulation (M and S) of RF coupling with complex electronics.
    • You will have technical responsibility for all HPM effects testing, overall HPM lethality strategy, configuration management of relevant effects data across all HPM projects, and advanced multi variate data analysis techniques.
    • You will work directly with other Navy Labs as well as sponsors, stakeholders, other Department of Defense and Department of Energy, National Labs, Academia, the United Kingdom, and NATO partners, to advance HPM vulnerability analysis.
