    About the Position:
    Carlisle Barracks is an installation at the center of the Army and Department of Defense Senior Leadership educational programs. This historic post supports missions such as the U.S. Army War College, including the Center for Strategic Leadership, Strategic Studies Institute and USAWC Press, Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute, U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center, and Dunham U.S. Army Health Clinic and the Installation Management Command.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Commanding General and his spouse, staff and major subordinate Army War College departments and institutes on all protocol matters
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of protocol support
    • Independently develops, integrates, and executes all aspects of protocol for special events, official social functions, seminars, conferences, and ceremonies of the Army War College
    • Oversee contract management and develop cost estimates for various special events
    • Serve as custodian of funds collected from invitees attending official social functions
    • Assist in developing cost estimates and the annual budgetary plan and schedules of expenditures of protocol funds throughout the year
