    This position is part of the R6-Prairie Pothole Joint Venture. As a Wildlife Biologist you will serve as the Science Coordinator, providing scientific assistance to the Habitat and Evaluation Team office and other Prairie Pothole Joint Venture partners.

    • Provide leadership for and coordinate science activities among the Prairie Pothole Joint Venture partners
    • Provide assistance on projects and develop projects to collect and analyze biological and landscape data used to integrate migratory bird planning, monitoring and evaluation
    • Design and conduct investigations to gather biological data on migratory bird populations
    • Analyze biological data and develop spatially explicit models that link biological parameters with landscape characteristics
    • Develop proposals to obtain funding or other resources needed to advance migratory bird and other species management

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You will be expected to travel for this position.
