    Travel, transportation, and relocation expenses will not be paid. All travel, transportation, and relocation expenses associated with reporting for duty in this position will be the sole responsibility of the selected employee.

    Other financial incentives (i.e. relocation bonus, recruitment bonus, student loan repayment), in lieu of relocation expense allowances may be negotiated.

    • Supervise a team of natural and cultural resource professionals and serve as a principal advisor to the park Superintendent.
    • Lead and coordinate preparation of park management plans, environmental compliance documents, resource management plans.
    • Direct an intricate program of resource management activities that involve sensitive and complex issues affecting resource outcomes.
    • Develop guidelines to deal with complex, unusual, novel, or controversial aspects of natural and cultural resources and their management.
    • Develop and implement work plans and schedules, scopes of work, project cost estimates, proposals and/or grants for project funding. Track and administer project funds, and prepare accomplishment reports.
    • Work with (communicate, collaborate, and coordinate) partners and other stakeholders to advance park resource goals.
    • Serve as Agreement Technical Representative and may serve as Contracting Officer's Representative
    • Negotiate cooperative and interagency agreements to carry out resource stewardship activities and advance program goals.
    • Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders and the public.
    • Prepare written reports and briefing papers on program and project status and key issues.
