    WHAT IS THE HUMAN CAPITOL OFFICE (HCO) DIVISION? The HCO mission is to make IRS an employer of choice and a leader in human capital planning and management. It develops strategies and tools for recruiting, hiring, developing and retaining a highly skilled and high performing workforce to support the IRS mission.

    Responsibilities

    As a Lead Human Resources Assistant you will:

    • Distribute and balance workload among employees and assure timely accomplishment.
    • Instruct in specific tasks, job techniques and make available written instructions and reference material.
    • Prepare and assist in disseminating new or revised operating and administrative procedures and conduct classroom training.
    • Assist in planning work methods and making adjustments in accordance with established priorities to meet deadlines.
    • Provide input on employee’s performance, progress, training needs and disciplinary problems.
    • Answers questions for employees on procedures, policies, directives, etc.
