    This is an OPEN-CONTINUOUS announcement; HR will accept applications for this position beginning on June 25th and will continue on a biweekly basis through the closing date of the announcement. You will be notified by email when your application has been sent to selecting officials for review.
    • The physician will be responsible for delivery of primary care to patients enrolled in the GCVHCS. The work assignment may include Primary Care Clinic and/or Women's Health Care. The provider will manage scheduled and unscheduled patients in a clinic setting at the medical center. All duties will be performed at the GCVHCS.
    • Primary Care providers in the outpatient setting are typically assigned a panel of patients to manage. Panel size at this time is determined by utilizing VHA PCMM software. Panel size is determined at the National level through a complex formula which extracts local information regarding acuity of assigned patients, available support staff, number of exam rooms, etc. Each provider's panel size is specific to their practice and setting.

    Work Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
