- Develop and maintain a proficient level of expertise, skills, and knowledge on automated staffing platforms.
- Formulate comprehensive work plans in which customer needs are identified, objectives are defined, and approaches are developed and recommended.
- Conduct fact-finding analysis on automated Human Resource issues and present recommendations and conclusions to appropriate management officials.
- Troubleshoot CareerConnector functionality such as operational problems and provide support to Employment Office staffs.
- Represent the IRS at meetings with Treasury and the CareerConnector vendor, Monster Government Solutions, on subjects related to CareerConnector implementation and deployment.

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
GS-12 LEVEL: You must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience in interpreting laws, Executive orders, regulations, and policies to design HR processes to meet business requirements. Experience must have included using an automated applicant management system to provide comprehensive automated staffing and placement services; participating on a team to review and improve automated staffing systems; and using system functionality to develop alternative staffing solutions such as: special programs, veteran readjustment, direct hire and schedule A appointments.
GS-13 LEVEL: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience applying a wide range of advanced Human Resource policies, laws and practices to design and implement HR solutions. Experience must have included serving as an expert consultant to hiring officials on the implementation of a comprehensive hiring plan that included an automated applicant management system; demonstrated knowledge of how to conduct a job analysis and develop a crediting plan and experience participating as a user/tester and providing feedback on HR Systems.
- The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or VolunteerService. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis.
