    • Serve as a principal advisor on scientific and medical review evaluation for documents radiological management devices related to x-ray imaging devices.
    • Serve as a Branch Chief, in directing the activities of the Branch, planning and assigning work, advising and counseling employees, and finding ways to increase the quality and quantity of Diabetes Branch.
    • Make premarket review determinations regarding the safety and effectiveness for in vitro diagnostic medical devices, products, related to classification, petitions, 510(k)s, and Humanitarian Device Exemptions.
    • Develop and interpret policy guidance in response to specific requests from the medical device industries.
    • Provide recommendations to scientific review panels and advisory committees on pre-market approval applications, instrumentation and equipment development protocols, and petitions for reclassification.
