This position is located in the Branch of Regulatory, Legislative and Policy Development (BRLP), Division of Policy and Program Development (DPP), Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). Major duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assists the Branch Chief with comprehensive long-range regulatory planning and reviews and evaluates plan implementation; prepares modification, to the plan, including formulation and periodic evaluation of goals, objectives and priorities.
- Drafts, manages, develops and promulgates regulations implementing the agency's legal authority.
- Identifies the need for cost-benefit studies and outlines the scope and objectives of the studies; analyzes new and existing reporting requirements.
- Schedules and conducts fact-finding and/or outreach events related to proposed OFCCP regulation; analyzes the records of these events inform proposed OFCCP regulations reviews and analyzes public comments submitted on proposed regulatory actions.
