    Summary

    This position is located the Fishlake National Forest, Supervisor's Office.

    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the program manager for the minerals program for the Forest.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide Minerals Program leadership in planning, managing, coordinating, reviewing, and reporting to support Forest Plan objectives.
    • Develop long-range program direction and annual programs of work to meet natural resources objectives and Forest Plan objectives.
    • Coordinate the accomplishment of natural resource management planning to support forest land management goals and objectives.
    • Oversee large complex restoration projects with national or local partners to ensure placing emphasis on resource coordination and specific project planning and execution.
    • Review all long-range and short-range action plans to ensure consistency with strategies and program emphasis in the approved Forest Plan.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
