    Summary

    You will serve as the Senior Scientific Technical Manager (SSTM) for Rapid Prototyping and Exercise Lead in the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic).

    Responsibilities

    • You will provide technical strategic leadership for the development of Rapid Prototypes designed to bring technologies to the fleet faster.
    • You will provide overall technical and strategic for the Rapid Prototyping and DON and DoD exercises and experiments throughout the enterprise to ensure prototypes and solutions are in alignment with larger exercise guidance and direction.
    • You will act as the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) single point of contact for interfacing with Rapid Prototyping and Exercise leads throughout the Naval enterprise.
    • You will guide participation in exercises and fleet engagement teams demonstrating novel capabilities to the fleet and U.S. Marine Corps (USMC).
    • You will oversee execution of technical projects developing prototypes; and lead command rapid acquisition initiatives, working across the command and the Navy.
    • You will serve as a leading technical expert on Rapid Prototyping capabilities such as computer aided design and additive manufacturing within NIWC Atlantic and across SPAWAR, Department of the Navy (DON) and Department of Defense (DoD).
    • You will collaborate with top technical leaders on the overall direction and management of the Center's prototyping focus areas and science and technology programs.
