    Summary

    Performs a variety of tasks pertaining to operations in a kitchen or dining area following established procedures. Sets up/breaks down all areas of cafeteria/dining room. Serves food by order and proper proportion. Performs all cleaning to include work area, kitchen, tables, equipment.
    Light to heavy physical effort is required. Frequently lifts/moves items weighing up to 40 pounds. Subject to continuous standing and walking, and frequent stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepares fresh fruit and green salads; makes cold sandwiches using prepared ingredients.
    • Operates, break downs, and cleans all equipment assigned to the area for food preparation.
    • May unload and store food from delivery trucks.
