    As a Human Resources (HR) Specialist within the Civilian HR Diversity and Leadership Directorate, you will serve as an HR Specialist, overseeing and administering the full range of HR services in support of USCG Senior Executive Service (SES) personnel. Provides technical expertise and guidance in the staffing and filling of executive level positions. Identifies significant HR problems and issues and is involved in developing, analyzing, evaluating, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of USCG Civilian HR processes and procedures.

    • Administering the full range of HR services in support of USCG Senior Executive Service (SES) personnel and performing the full range of recruiting and staffing support related to filling executive level positions.
    • Maintaining professional relationships with higher echelon USCG management, HR service providers and staff, SES personnel, and IT staff to ensure Coast Guard civilian HR services, policies, procedures, and processes are understood and best employed.
    • Serving as the primary point of contact for all issues and questions requiring coordination with DHS components regarding SES personnel.
    • Serving as subject matter expert and advisor conducting special studies, research and analysis on a wide range of civilian personnel and workforce management issues.
