This position is an Enterprise Architect located in the Security, Architecture, Policy, and Planning Branch (SAPPB), Division of Information Systems (DIS), Office of Information and Resource Management (OIRM). - Advising NSF IT management in developing, maintaining and communicating IT vision and strategy that support NSF's near-term and long-term objectives.
- Leading and managing EA tasks and deliverables across the full lifecycle of the NSF EA program.
- Leading small teams in conducting advanced modeling, analytics, and feasibility studies and building business cases within and across select architectural layers or views for large, complex organizations.
- Facilitating stakeholder work sessions focused on making enterprise-wide decisions that balance and prioritize competing interests of individual NSF stakeholder groups.
- Managing Enterprise Architect initiatives such as migrating data center services to the cloud.

QualificationsMinimum Qualification Requirements: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must have specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to perform IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture) work at the GS-14 level. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include leading Enterprise Architecture initiatives that involve developing organizational IT strategy, transition plans, target-architectures of enterprise solutions for cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), DevSecOps, Commodity Information Technology (IT), custom software applications based on microservices, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) with shared service provider(s), and data management plans.
